Within the framework of the Human Rights Platform - to which Tournons La Page has been affiliated for two years and participates in the steering committee - a project financed by the AFD has been initiated with the aim of promoting the work of human rights defenders in nine countries, including 4 countries where TLP has coalitions: Burundi, Côte d'Ivoire, Congo and Togo.
This project, in consortium with four other members of the platform, allows for the strengthening and training of defenders' networks and thus increases their capacity to influence and promote human rights. Among these networks are targeted by the capacity building, groups of women leaders of the national coalitions TLP-CI and TLP-Togo in order to carry out actions of citizen mobilization.
The innovative point of this program lies in the fact that it brings together international networks and their members beyond their respective mandates, cultures and zones of intervention.
